California Privacy Rights

Applicability — California Residents

This California Privacy Rights Notice ("CA Notice") supplements the pestguardco.com Privacy Policy and applies exclusively to residents of the State of California. It is provided pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 ("CCPA") as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 ("CPRA"), and any implementing regulations issued thereunder.

The operating entity is Ziplead Digital / The Lead House ("we," "us," or "our"). References to "personal information" in this CA Notice have the meaning given under California law, which generally means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked to a particular California consumer or household.

Categories of Personal Information We Collect

In the twelve (12) months preceding the effective date of this notice, we have collected the following categories of personal information from California consumers who interact with pestguardco.com:

• Identifiers — name, phone number, ZIP code, and IP address collected when you request a service quote or use our call buttons.
• Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity — browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, time on site, referring URL, and session duration collected automatically via cookies and analytics tools.
• Geolocation Data — general geographic location derived from your IP address or ZIP code to facilitate a match with local service providers in your area.
• Inferences — profiles drawn from the above data to understand user preferences and improve matching with local pest control professionals.

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, financial account details, biometric identifiers, health information, or personal information from individuals under the age of 16.

How We Use Your Personal Information

We use the personal information described above for the following business purposes:

• Connecting you with licensed, local pest control service providers based on your location and service request (our core referral function).
• Communicating with you regarding your service request, by phone or otherwise, in accordance with your express written consent and applicable TCPA / FCC regulations.
• Operating, maintaining, and improving the pestguardco.com website and referral platform.
• Detecting and preventing fraud, security incidents, and other malicious or illegal activity.
• Complying with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.
• Serving relevant retargeting advertising through Google Ads and Meta platforms to prior site visitors, consistent with our Privacy Policy and those platforms' terms.

Sharing & Disclosure of Personal Information

In the twelve (12) months preceding the effective date of this notice, we have disclosed personal information to the following categories of third parties for business purposes:

• Local Service Providers — independent, licensed pest control contractors in our referral network who fulfill your specific service request. Disclosure is limited to identifiers (name, phone, ZIP) necessary to complete the match.
• Advertising Platforms — Google LLC and Meta Platforms, Inc., for the purpose of operating retargeting campaigns. These platforms may use identifiers and electronic network activity data consistent with their own privacy policies.
• Analytics Providers — service providers who help us understand how visitors use our website, operating under data processing agreements that restrict their use of your data.

Your CCPA / CPRA Rights

As a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA and CPRA, subject to certain exceptions and verification requirements described below:

• Right to Know (Section 6)
• Right to Delete (Section 7)
• Right to Correct (Section 8)
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing (Section 9)
• Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information (Section 10)
• Right to Non-Discrimination (Section 11)

We will respond to a verifiable consumer request within 45 calendar days of receipt. If we require additional time (up to 45 more days), we will inform you of the reason and extension in writing within the initial 45-day period.

Right to Know

You have the right to request that we disclose, for the 12-month period preceding your request:

• The categories of personal information we collected about you.
• The categories of sources from which we collected that information.
• Our business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing that information.
• The categories of third parties to whom we disclose personal information.
• The specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you (a "data portability" request).

Right to Delete

You have the right to request that we delete personal information we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions. We may deny a deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service providers to:

• Complete a transaction for which the personal information was collected or provide a good or service you requested.
• Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity.
• Comply with a legal obligation.
• Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with your expectations.

If we deny your deletion request in whole or in part, we will inform you of our decision and reasoning in writing.

Right to Correct

Under the CPRA, you have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you. Upon receiving a verifiable request, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct the inaccuracy, taking into account the nature of the information and the purposes for which we process it.

Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing

You have the right to direct us to stop sharing your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. To exercise this right, you may:

• Email our compliance team at [email protected] with the subject line "CA Opt-Out — Do Not Share".
• Use your browser's Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we recognize as a valid opt-out request where technically feasible.
• Manage advertising preferences directly through Google Ad Settings and Meta Ad Preferences.

We do not sell personal information for money and have not done so in the preceding 12 months.

Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information

The CPRA grants California residents the right to limit a business's use and disclosure of sensitive personal information to certain permitted purposes. At this time, we do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA (e.g., Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, biometric data, health information, or sexual orientation). If this changes, we will update this Notice accordingly and provide the required opt-out mechanism.

Right to Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights. Unless permitted by the CCPA/CPRA, we will not:

• Deny you goods or services.
• Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through discounts, benefits, or penalties.
• Provide you with a different level or quality of goods or services.
• Suggest that you may receive a different price, rate, level, or quality of goods or services.

Shine the Light Disclosure

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request, once per calendar year, information about the categories of personal information disclosed to third parties for those third parties' direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year. If applicable, this information would include the categories of personal information and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared information in the immediately preceding calendar year.

Submitting a Verifiable Consumer Request

To exercise your Right to Know, Delete, or Correct, submit a verifiable consumer request to us by:

• Email: [email protected] — include "CA Privacy Request" in the subject line.

A verifiable consumer request must provide sufficient information to allow us to reasonably verify that you are the person about whom we collected personal information (or an authorized agent acting on your behalf), and describe your request with sufficient detail to allow us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

We cannot respond to your request or provide personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor's identity.

You may submit a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child. You may make a Right to Know (data portability) request no more than twice within a 12-month period.

Authorized Agent

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a consumer rights request on your behalf. To use an authorized agent, you must either:

• Provide the authorized agent with signed written permission to submit requests on your behalf; or
• Execute a power of attorney pursuant to California Probate Code sections 4000 to 4465.

We may deny a request from an authorized agent who does not submit proof of their authority to act on your behalf, unless you confirm directly with us that you have provided the agent permission to submit the request.
